The safety of each player is our organization's highest priority. The purpose
of this organization is to provide an opportunity for young people to learn
the rules and skills of ice hockey through supervised instruction and
competition while emphasizing the ideals of good sportsmanship and
teamwork.
Congrats to our CCYHA Bantam AA team on winning gold at the Nutmeg State Games this past weekend. Our team went 25-4 in the opening round going 3-0 to earn a spot in gold medal game. The Bantam AA's secured the gold with a 7-1 win in the finals. Congrats to all players and coaches

CCYHA offers summer ice (free of charge) for all of our players. These sessions are optional and are run by coaches within the divisions. The sessions are set up to be 20 minutes of skills and 40 minutes of 3v3 / 4v4.

CCYHA Peewee B won the 12U Tier 4 Subway Division. With a tournament record of 3-0-1, Central locked up a semifinal against Stamford A1. Central advanced to the Championship game against Ridgefield B. The game was hard fought and tied 3-3 at the end of OT. In the 15th round of the shootout Max Ganci scored to put Central ahead. Nora Vazquez made the final stop to secure the victory. Congratulations Peewee B.

Please take a few minutes to evaluate the head coach and each of the assistant coaches for your child's team(s). Your candid thoughts are appreciated and valued. This is an extremely important step in our coaching committee's decisions for coaches next season. You will have the ability to evaluate one head coach and four assistant coaches.
This survey is completely anonymous and the results will be shared as constructive criticism for the coaches.

CCYHA will be conducting a checking clinic on Thursday April 4th at 5:40pm-6:40pm. This clinic is open to any players wishing to learn the basics of body contact. This is a free clinic and pre registration is not required.
CCYHA will be providing all U14-U18 players signed up for tryouts to attend a pre-tryout session on Thursday April 4th to keep their skills sharp for tryouts. These sessions will be skill based and are completely optional. Due to U14-U18 tryouts being held later, we are offering players an option to get on the ice before tryouts.
Thursday April 4: 6:50pm-7:50pm - U14 players (Birth years 2010-2011)
Thursday April 4: 8:00pm-9:00pm - U15-U18 players (Birth years 2009 and older)
